• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

I've officially given up on actually winning. I just don't have the time in November between debating and the musical. I'll be able to do it in 2 years when I'm in college but not until then. Sorry to my team-mates who find their scores weakened by me.

I'm a composite of a Bow Street Runner, Policeman, Nightwatchman and a drunk guy in the Three Cripples. I think it says a lot about the reliability of people in my school that in a musical with a cast of over 180 people, I still have to play multiple characters.

    NaNoWriMo 2010

I'm still on 2855 because I got nothing written yesterday because I was debating and haven't had the chance to start today because we had to rehearse the entire second act of Oliver and then I was only home five minutes before I had to go to acupuncture.

Technically, I didn't get anything on day 1, 'cause I didn't update my word count for the first chapter (1307) until just after midnight. :/ Upside is, that means my word count for today will end up being something like 3000.

    NaNoWriMo 2010

I realised I wasn't going to get 50, 000 words out of my first choice so I decided to go for a different story. This starts out as detective noir before going philosophical with psychological horror overtones then graduating into action and finishing off with very meta fantasy. Basically, the...

Behold the glory of 695678! I'm going with one of the novels I've already planned, "The Right Hand, or the Book of Tizoc". Based heavily in Judaeo-Christian mythology, Biblical apocrypha and demonology.

    NaNoWriMo 2010

I just want to run the rough plot of my NaNoWriMo novel by you guys, to see what ye think. A farmer called Tizoc is working his fields one day when he falls through the ground into a cave. Inside the cave, he finds the imprisoned angel Arakiel, who transfers himself into Tizoc's right hand and...

    NaNoWriMo 2010

My NaNoWriMo story is about a farmer who must stop an army of fallen angels invading heaven. Based quite heavily in Judaeo-Christian apocrypha, medieval demonology and Abrahamic mythology in general.
